713 Music Hall Rules

Every venue has different rules on what is or isn’t permitted upon entry or once inside the space. Following your own discretion about venue rules can be a quick way to get kicked out, so let’s review all of the need-to-know policies for 713 Music Hall. Keep in mind that these rules are subject to change based on the venue’s discretion and specific tour events.

THE MINIMUM AGE

Age restrictions at 713 Music Hall depend on the event you’re attending. The minimum age at an all-age event is 12 years old, though children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please check your tickets before attending an event to see the specific restrictions and details for the tour you’re attending. You can use the Venue Textline for more information.

  • Detachable lenses

  • Drugs, drug paraphernalia, or any illegal substances
  • Weapons
  • Outside food or drinks
  • Any other item or accessory that could inflict harm on guests
  • Tour posters, signs, or obstructive banners
  • Animals (aside from service animals)

If you have general inquiries about the list of items that can or cannot be brought into the venue, you can call 713 Music Hall at (832) 204-6920 for more details.

CROWD-SURFING

Crowd-surfing and “moshing” are popular activities during hard rock and emo shows, though you can quickly get kicked out of certain venues that do not permit such behaviors.

While the website does not explicitly state crowd-surfing policies, numerous reviews imply that 713 Music Hall encourages fans and band members to crowd-surf. During events like Bring Me the Horizon, concert-goers explain that guests were crowd surfing during every song while the security staff ensured that everyone came down safely in a kind manner.

THE SMOKING POLICY

713 Music Hall does not permit smoking of any kind. This includes cigarettes, vapes, e-cigarettes, marijuana, or any other smoking paraphernalia. You can speak with the entertainment staff upon entry to see if there is a designated smoking area outside.

713 MUSIC HALL PAYMENT POLICIES

We’ve all been to venues before that only accept cash with big fees at the ATM, making you regret that you didn’t prepare in advance. So, how do payments work at 713 Music Hall?

713 Music Hall operates as a cashless venue accepting only card transactions. You can use Visa, Mastercard, or other major debit or credit cards to purchase tour merch, drinks, and more.

If you only brought cash, the venue provides a cash-to-card conversion machine in the lobby near the entry area and box office. Here, you can use cash to receive a card that will work anywhere that a Mastercard works, including inside the venue, online, and in retail locations. The transaction is dollar-for-dollar without any fees.
