Of the tour, Neil Smith says, “We couldn’t be more excited for this upcoming 2025 NA tour with our good friend Briston Maroney. It’s our biggest tour ever and we’re playing some really crazy venues, places like Red Rocks in Colorado that I honestly never really thought were in the cards for us. It freaks me out that we somehow managed to go from rehearsing in Chris’ bedroom ten years ago to venues like The Greek in LA and Pier 17 in New York. 2014 Peach Pit would be tripping out right now😵💫”
Peach Pit and Briston Maroney just announced their 2025 Long Hair, Long Life co-headline trek. The 25-date tour will make its way across the continent and arrive at North America’s major venues. Kickstarting on 20 May 2025 in Philadelphia at The Met, the tour will make its way to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, Charlotte and more, before wrapping up in June 2025 in Canada. Supporting both acts across all dates is the indie rock powerhouse Bnny.
The Long Hair, Long Life trek comes in celebration of Peach Pit's latest masterpiece, Magpie. Issued on 25 October 2024 through Columbia Records, the LP found itself listed among the top 10 selling vinyl albums in its inaugural week!! “The LP is a masterclass in expansive arrangement and deeply felt songwriting—a winning formula that only continues the incredible trajectory the band’s been on since their star-making debut EP Sweet FA in 2016,” says Live Nation. Magpie consists of eleven incredible songs, and sees the four piece delve into classic sounds while honing their own, individual style. Peach Pit consists of chief vocalist Neil Smith, guitarist Chris Vanderkooy, bassist Peter Wilton, as well as drummer Mikey Pascuzzi. Adored around the world for their iconic live shows with loads of stage diving and guitar solos, this concert will capture the same energy, and more! Ahead of the exciting Long Hair, Long Life trek, the quartet is going on tour in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the UK.
